We support individuals of all ages! We also work with any type of relationship, whether it be a romantic couple, co-parents, friends, etc. In addition, we have psychologists who support families to function as better parts of a unified whole.

Individuals choose to engage in therapy for a variety of reasons. Sometimes we need help processing a recent event that is distressing or help understanding past events that are still having an effect on our daily lives and relationships. Maybe we need help making sense of current behaviours that are no longer useful and sometimes we simply want to better ourselves and work towards a more fulfilling life. Whichever reason brought you here, we are happy to support you through your journey.

Assessment

A formal assessment can help one to better understand their internal landscape and functioning. The process will vary based on needs and presenting concerns. Ages 6+

I’m glad you’re here! I am dedicated to providing a client-centered approach that puts your expertise on your own life front and center. My primary objective is to meet you exactly where you are on your journey and to recognize the unique experiences that have shaped you as an individual.

With a decade of counselling experience, I bring a depth perspective informed by psychodynamic and attachment principles to help you explore the underlying patterns that contribute to your difficulties. By recognizing, understanding, and accepting the core experiences that shape your struggles, we can work together to support meaningful and lasting change. In individual therapy, this often involves gently making space for emotional experiences as they arise, while also exploring how earlier relational experiences may be influencing current thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.

In my practice, I address a wide range of issues, including substance use, depression, anxiety, relationships, and self-esteem. However, my specialization lies in trauma and family of origin issues, and I typically utilize EMDR as a therapeutic approach. I am an EMDR Certified Therapist through the EMDR International Association. Through this method, I can assist you in processing and healing from traumatic experiences, enabling you to move forward with greater resilience. I also provide EMDR intensives, which are a concentrated and targeted approach for addressing distressing memories and symptoms.

When working with couples, I primarily draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), emphasizing emotional connection and attachment patterns. I also integrate psychodynamic ideas to better understand the deeper emotional cycles each partner brings into the relationship. Our work focuses on what unfolds between you in real time - how disconnection happens, what each partner is longing for underneath it, and how protective responses can get in the way of feeling close.

Rather than taking a directive “fix-it” approach, I see my role as a supportive guide in the process. I stay present with you in difficult moments, helping slow things down so we can make sense of what is happening emotionally, not just behaviourally. From there, we can begin to access the more vulnerable emotions and needs that are often harder to reach on your own, and create space for new ways of responding to one another.

Throughout our therapeutic journey, I am fully committed to actively listening and providing the support you need to discover your inner strength. Establishing a safe and caring therapeutic relationship is of utmost importance to me, as it serves as the solid foundation for our collaborative work. Together, we will focus on accepting your story, overcoming obstacles, and experiencing personal growth.

Whether we celebrate your successes or navigate through moments of struggle, I consider it a true honor to be by your side on this transformative journey of self-discovery and healing.

Hello! After completing my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of British Columbia and my Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University, I have accumulated over seven years of experience in the field. A portion of this time was spent working with children with cognitive and developmental disorders and their families, and a portion was in private practice, providing clinical counselling support to children, individuals, and families. Through my time working under psychologists, speech-pathologists, and occupational therapists, I developed an affinity for a well-rounded and multi-disciplinary approach.

As a psychological practitioner, I aim to help couples and families work on their connection and empower individuals to reconnect with themselves. Through neuro-informed psychology and counselling, I am passionate about exploring how our past experiences shape how we see the world, and about using evidence-based interventions and reflection to create change, resilience, and self-connection. I acknowledge the level of vulnerability it takes to trust a therapist with the most personal parts of yourself, and I want you to know that I recognize and deeply appreciate this.

Beginning therapy is a commitment you are making to yourself, and I see it as my role to ensure this time and space are truly your own. My way of honouring that trust is by giving you full permission to shape the experience to fit you. I work collaboratively with my clients so that their therapeutic journey feels authentic and flexible - an experience we co-create together. Rapport and connection are everything to me, and building that foundation is always at the heart of my work.Whether we focus on trauma, achievement, connection, or other challenging areas in your life, I feel humbled to get to know you and all of the parts of you that make you - you!

Hello and welcome! Reaching out for support takes courage, and my goal is to meet you exactly where you are. I believe you inherently know what’s best for you, and my role is to offer a compassionate, collaborative space where you feel heard, understood, and supported as you move forward.

Therapy with me is not only about addressing difficulties, it’s also about understanding yourself more deeply and creating change that feels realistic and meaningful. My work is informed by my training as a psychologist and over a decade in adult learning, which has deepened my respect for how people grow through reflection, curiosity, and real-life application. This means our work stays practical, collaborative, and rooted in what matters most to you.

I work with adults navigating a wide range of concerns, including ADHD, anxiety, chronic pain, depression, grief, relationship problems, low self-esteem, stress, trauma, and major life transitions. I’m deeply drawn to helping individuals navigate midlife, a time that often brings profound reflection, change, and complexity. I provide a space to explore what you’re feeling, clarify values and goals, address identity shifts, build coping strategies, and plan for what comes next. This work often addresses issues like career dissatisfaction, relationship strain, loss of direction or purpose, physical and hormonal challenges, mood and anxiety concerns, and the emotional impact of experiences like managing the teenage years or caring for aging parents.

Whether you’re seeking clarity, growth, or a renewed sense of confidence, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. Together, we can work toward a life that feels more authentic, meaningful, and fulfilling.
